ERC Training

A two-hour training session is mandatory for all Telephone and Internet Encouragers.  Many training opportunities are provided.  Some ERC Trainings are held in conjunctions with national conferences.  State conventions, associations, and some individual churches also sponsor ERC Trainings.  Additionally, a video training for Telephone Encouragers is being prepared.  Training for Internet Encouragers is soon to be provided online.  On two occasions a National Live Video Simulcast has been provided to train hundreds of Encouragers all across North America simultaneously.

In addition to the two-hour training course, an endorsement from your pastor is required before you may serve as an ERC Encourager.  Encouragers’ home churches are provided with an outline for a Commissioning Worship Service to be held before your service as an Encourager.
